I was very sorry to learn of Bobby's death.  He has meant a lot to the Ottawa Branch and to me.  He and his band played at the Branch every year since 1978 (except for this year, when he was sick) and probably several times before as a member of Stan Hamilton's band.  While I was still teaching dancing, his records and CDs were in frequent use and were always enjoyed by the classes.  He will be missed by many in the SCD community.

My condolences tot he family.

The Band has been terrific. Blair was most enjoyable and Hamilton on April 2nd was superb Laird was on top form ,his one liners and harrassing of Archie was a "tour de force". Best wishes to all. Looking forward to your next dates.

Laird,  I have been using your CD the past couple of weeks and it has been a real hit.  Our favourite is Galloway House.   What a wonderful CD and we all look forward to the next one.  Thumbs up to you and your talented band.

Hi Bobby, Looking forward to dancing to your energetic and driving music at the Ardbrae Ball in January. Too bad it's not closer to Easter as the bunny ears in the photo album were a sight. Cheers, Guy

Hi Bobby, Just discovered your web-site. You have not changed. Always smiling. Understand you've re-married, maybe that's what is making you smile. any signs of you returning home for a visit? I could do with a few lessons. Regards Eric
